He performed the first marriage in the garden of Eden. God blesses the institution and he means for it to multiply, to grow and to prosper.

Prayer is critical to your marriage. When was the last time you held your wife’s hands, kneel and pray with her, and thank God for her life? When last have you pronounced blessing upon her and your marriage and to keep you both happy and together? Have you as the priest of your home ever cover your family in prayer, intercede on behalf of your children and lift them up to God? Prayer is the most powerful weapon that you have against chaos, unhappiness, divorce and infidelity.

Men are really called to take the lead, because you are the head of the home. It is important to let your sons and daughters see and hear you leading your family into prayer.

Wives, if your husbands are not doing this, this is something that you should really try to accomplish this year. Pray for him that he takes his place at the spiritual helm but whether its you or him, both of you need to pray constantly and consistently so your marriage would improve in ways that you could only imagine. PRAY.
